Digital Set Top Box - Help Page

As time goes by the digital broadcasting network will be improved this may require your set top box to be rescanned to gain all the new channels. Please see below how to do this.

Re-scanning your set top box (STB)

Brand: MXT Model: MSTB100HD - High Definition Set Top Box

Press the menu button on the remote control. Use the down arrow button to select 'Install' and press. You will be asked for a pin number. The default pin number is fours zeros '0000'. After this a new page with 'Auto Search' option is displayed. Press ok button to select auto search. It may take several minutes to complete the search. Once finished you can start watching TV by pressing the up arrow or down arrow buttons on the remote.

Brand: MXT Model: MSTB201SD - Standard Definition Set Top Box

Press Menu button on remote control. Use up and down arrow buttons on the remote to selection 'Installation Menu'. Use arrow keys to select "Auto Search" and press OK button. After the unit has scanned all available channels it will return to the installation menu. You can then exit the menu by pressing the 'exit' button on the remote until the on screen display menus disappear.
